Container Desiccants are specially engineered to protect cargo from moisture damage by preventing condensation in shipping containers (typically known as Cargo Sweat, Container Sweat, or Container Rain). A moist environment may invite mould, mildew, and corrosion, which may cause product damage. Container rain can be prevented by using desiccants to absorb water vapour from the enclosed air in the container, maintaining a low relative humidity level, keeping goods protected while in transit.
