Desiccant Polymer

Description

Manufactured from Molecular Sieve (60%) and Polymer (40%), the Versatile Moisture Adsorbing Polymer (VMAP) is best used for adsorbing odours and other volatile organic compounds. As an excellent alternative to desiccant bags, the VMAP helps to reduce the risk of desiccant contamination and fibre loss. Hence this desiccant is ideally used for applications that require a high level of cleanliness such as electronics, sensors, semiconductors, circuit boards, optics, medical devices, shipping, and storage. The Desiccant Polymer operates at a temperature between -40ºC to 90ºC and its shape can be customised to allow applications that allow requires complex shapes to fit the available space. Using screw fasteners, adhesives or other mechanical retention methods, allows the Desiccant Polymer to be fixed in place. It is also incorporated with controlled adsorption properties to prolong the life of the desiccant, suggesting that the Desiccant Polymers can be used for long time frame operations, protecting products for a long duration and reduce maintenance costs.
