The ShockLog® Cellular is specially designed for the close monitoring of movement of goods to determine and identify the stage where it has been mishandled. It combines the excellent features of the ShockLog® 298 impact recorder with a cellular communication system to provide real-time alerts of unacceptable handling of goods in the supply chain.
A user-friendly device, the ShockLog® Cellular makes use of a proprietary piezoelectric accelerometer created and manufactured by SpotSee that produces world-class impact analysis with the lowest noise floor in the market. It also features a battery life that lasts over 90 days and can continuously provide low-cost global connectivity without roaming charges. Whenever goods have suffered as out of tolerance impact, tilt, temperature, humidity or roll condition, the impact recorder will send an alert. The recorded data can also be accessed at any point in time via the user-friendly SpotSee Cloud.
With a data capability of 870 events and 262,000 time slots, the recorded information will remain stored even if the battery runs outs. At the end of the journey, the entire dataset is available for download and analysis. The ShockLog software is then able to generate insight reports of the entire journey, consisting of the highest acceleration figures for the X, Y and Z-axis, detailed impact curves and temperature.
