VCI Specialty Solutions are used in metal processing applications such as a lubricant, wash, final rinse, protection of closed systems (boilers, tanks, piping), and general metalworking purposes.
The Nox-Rust 5400 is a rust preventive oil incorporated with petroleum additives, commonly used as a wash. The 5400 leaves behind a lubricant and corrosion preventive film without interfering with assembly sealers, adhesives, painting, welding, and cleaning solutions. Conventional cleaning methods can be used to remove the Nox-Rust 5400 easily. It is also approved for use as a lubricant/preservative on sheet and coil sheets by major automotive manufacturers.
A general use water-displacing stamping oil, the Nox-Rust 7100 is a crucial solution for any plant with stamping operation that uses water-base cutting fluids. Typically, these companies manufacturers springs, machine tools, compressors, gears, driveshafts, precision parts, watch components, taps, drills, and parts for refrigeration, aviation, and transportation. The transparent oil repels residual cutting fluids and will not clog stamping dies, which is a significant benefit. It is also non-staining, another vital quality for in-plant or cross plant processing. After application, it dries to a soft dry film which is barely noticeable, except for the sparkling luster it puts on treated metal. To apply the Nox-Rust 7100, users can dip, spray or brush. In most scenarios, removal is not necessary.
Known as the top all-purpose lubricant, the Nox-Rust 7800 not only provides temporary corrosion protection it can also be used to un-seize a stubborn nut to keep machines running smoothly. Water-displacing, low viscosity lubricant, and a corrosion prevention solution, the Nox-Rust 7800 protects ferrous and non-ferrous parts during storage and covered transit at a low film thickness. No mixing or preparation is required, and it is compatible with barium lube grease while performing as an excellent lubricating oil for assembly parts. It features a unique ability to creep and penetrate very tight and hard-to-reach areas. Remaining at a liquid state, even at -70°F, the Nox-Rust 7800 is applicable in the military as gun oil for firearms in cold climates. The Nox-Rust 7800 is ideal for transit and transportation industries, machined parts, and even routine maintenance shop use. To use the Nox-Rust 7800, apply by spraying, dipping, or brushing. If removal is required, users can use mineral spirits, high-pressure steam, or hot alkaline wash.
The Nox-Rust 9300, an all-purpose, water-displacing corrosion inhibitor additive for final stage rinse, prevents corrosion from taking place during shipment and storage of machined parts, tools, treated steel, and assembles. The solution can be diluted with water petroleum solvent and applied by dipping, spraying, or brushing.
The Nox-Rust 9700 is a synthetic, water-based rust preventive, designed as a final and in-process RP additive. Capable of removing dirt and debris from steel before mill oils are applied. Add to cutting fluids, metalworking fluids, or final stage rinse. It is also water displacing and is compatible with zinc and copper.
