Multi-metal VCI Paper protects metal parts from corrosion during storage or transit. It is used in industries like Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Military or sectors where metal parts are susceptible to corrosion.

Corrosion Prevention for Metals

The paper is infused with VCI that emits vapours into the surrounding air. These vapours form a protective layer on the metal surface and establish a shield against moisture, oxygen, and other corrosive agents.

The molecules of the VCI can spread and reach areas that are difficult to access – providing comprehensive corrosion protection. The “multi-metal” nature of the VCI Paper protects a wide array of metals, including ferrous metals (such as Iron and Steel), non-ferrous metals (like Aluminium, Brass and Copper), and various metal alloys.

Clean and Effective Rust Protection

Implementing the Multi-Metal VCI paper removes the requirement for additional protective coatings like Oils or Greases, which often lead to inconvenience and require extensive cleaning during the unpacking stage. This characteristic establishes the Multi-Metal VCI paper as a clean and efficient approach to corrosion prevention.

Our Multi-Metal VCI paper is simple to use – wrap or line the packaging of the metal parts or machinery with the paper. The paper is also chemically inert and non-reactive, ensuring it does not introduce harmful substances to the items it protects and extends the service life of the metal component.

VCI Paper (Uniwrap Woven) offers exceptional strength, tear, and moisture resistance. This poly-reinforced paper is suitable for coil wrapping as it is made of 40lb/65gsm single-ply natural kraft. The Polyethylene is laminated to a 10 x 3 woven HDPE fabric, top-coated and saturated with a VCI formulation to ensure optimal corrosion protection.

VCI Paper (Unwrap) serves as a corrosion inhibitor which is ideal for protecting metals and equipment. It is suitable for ferrous, non-ferrous, and multi-metal combinations.

VCI Paper (UW33MPI) is a moldable and sturdy VCI paper for wrapping both ferrous and non-ferrous metal parts during storage and transit. Made from 35lb/57gsm² natural kraft, it offers an excellent moisture barrier and it is also tear and puncture-resistant. It is ideal for hand-wrapping automotive parts and fabricated metal components.

VCI Paper (UW35MPI) provides general-purpose corrosion protection. It protects ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including Cadmium, Galvanized Steel and Zinc, without the need for surface-applied oils or rust preventatives. Constructed from 35 lb/57 gsm² natural kraft, it is available in various weights and coatings, including wax-coated and poly-coated options, as well as chips.

VCI Paper (40PCMPI) provides corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, such as Zinc-Galvanized and Cadmium Steel. Made from 40 lb/65 gsm² natural kraft paper, the poly-coated material acts as a moisture barrier to corrosion protection.

VCI Paper (Uniwrap 200) is suited for general-purpose wrapping of various metals, including Iron, Cast Iron, Steel, Tin, Zinc, and Copper-plated metals. Made from 35 lb/57gsm natural kraft, this Nitrite-free VCI packaging paper is versatile and reliable.

VCI Paper (Steelwrap MPI) is a laminated, natural kraft VCI paper infused with a VCI coating for protecting ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The treated kraft is reinforced with Scrim and Polyethylene and give rise to a 50 lbs natural kraft paper that offers heavy duty moisture resistance, strength, and tear resistance. It is easy to use and reaches hard to access areas.

VCI Paper (Scrim) is robust and able to withstand harsh conditions and rough handling. It has exceptional tear strength which makes it ideal for sheeting material, interleaving between pallets and heavy steel rolls, and wrapping irregularly shaped and bulky equipment.
