Proximity Alert Components are a comprehensive range of additional devices, comprised of magnetic field generators, light and audio warning modules, personal alarm devices, and other pieces of equipment. Designed for a specific work environment, our proximity alert components provide businesses with a customisable solution, catered to their required needs.
The Magnetic Field Generator is a comprehensive system that includes the Generator, the Warning Module, the Cab Silencer, and the Power Cable.
The Magnetic Field Generator is a comprehensive system that includes a Generator, Warning Module, Cab Silencer, and Power Cable. Together with this, an additional optional component, Collision Avoidance Module, can be installed to alert drivers of other trucks close to the CAM.
The XL Magnetic Field Generator System is supplied together with an XL Generator, Warning Module, Cab Silencer, and Power Cable.
The Warning Module with Light/Sound provides the driver with both an audio and visual warning when a pedestrian is in close proximity while driving in reverse. With the sound rated for 103dB, the warning module connects chains directly in the warning module with light and sound (included in the MFG system).
This version of the warning module offers users only visual warnings when the pedestrian is walking behind the driver, preventing collision from occurring. This product connects directly to the warning module with light and sound (included in the MFG system).
The Cab Silencer installed to the Magnetic Field Generator Systems are used to silence a vehicle operator’s Personal Alarm Device (PAD) from detecting magnetic fields from other Magnetic Field Generators nearby. This device helps to disable the operator’s PAD automatically when in the protected area of the vehicle’s cab.
The 10 Port Charger is a battery charging tool to ensure that Personal Alarm Devices (PAD) are charged daily. It is available in 3 channels: Single Bay (to charge 1 PAD), 5-Bay (Charges up to 5 PADs at a time) and 10 Bay (Charges up to 10 PADs).
The Checkout Station verifies the functionality of the Personal Alarm Device, including the sounder, magnetic field sensors, LED, and battery charger.
The Personal Alarm Device (PAD) Test Module ensures all PAD are functioning well before work. It serves as a reminder to employees to charge their PAD daily. The test module comes together with a Test Station, Power Cable, and Warning Module. The PAD Test Module is excellent for warehouses, where forklifts and other vehicles are used.
The Structure Monitor protects permanent structures that require constant repairing or are expensive to replace. It can be used as both a stand-alone device when a solar panel is added or connect to 100VAC. The Structure Monitor senses the generator on the truck as it approaches and sends a warning signal back to the truck. The length of the field around the monitor can be adjusted easily by taking off the top cover and slightly turning the pot with a 3/32″ slotted screwdriver. Solar Panel, Controller Box, and Mounting Plat are sold separately.
The Access Monitor allows access to employers who are wearing a Personal Alarm Device (PAD) into controlled areas. This device also helps to serve as a reminder to employees, ensuring they charge their PAD daily and prevents any misplacement. When the Access Monitor detects the presence of a PAD, it sends a command to a relay box and fixture with an on/off mechanism, controlling the gates to open or close. The Access Monitor comes with a Power Cable, Warning Module, and Relay.
Used as a stand-alone device or in conjunction with the MAC-A system, the Area Monitor sends alerts to workers when it senses the generator of an approaching truck. The Area Monitor then gives off light and audio alarms when the alert is activated, making it ideal in intersections and pedestrian areas with blind corners. The length of the field around the monitor can be adjusted easily by taking off the top cover and slightly turning the pot with a 3/32″ slotted screwdriver. The Area Monitor comes with a relay box and 50 ft of 18/2 thermostate wire. Lights are not included.
The MAC-A System requires the truck entering the area to be equipped with a generator system complete with the Collision Avoidance Module (CAM) and workers to wear a Personal Alarm Device (PAD). When all 3 devices are used at the same time, it will keep pedestrians and equipment separated, preventing them from occupying the controlled area simultaneously.
The MAC-A System is capable of generating an adjustable magnetic field suspended 11 ft above the designated area, up to 30 ft wide, and extend up to 160″ in length. On the other hand, the CAM is able to sense the magnetic field from the MAC to activated alerts such as lights, horns, etc. Hence, when all workers wearing the Personal Alarm Device are out of the magnetic field of the MAC-A System, the truck will be able to enter the controlled area. The MAC-A System comes with a MAC Controller, 2 relay boxes, MAC system up to 160 ft of conduit and wire. Lights are not included.
In comparison with the MAC-A System which gives off alarms when a pedestrian enters the controlled area with a truck present inside, the MAC-Z system will prevent the Personal Alarm Devices worn by workers from activating when they are in the controlled area. The MAC-Z System generates an adjustable magnetic field suspended 11 ft above the designated area, up to 30 ft wide, and extend up to 160″ in length. When all workers wearing the Personal Alarm Device are in the magnetic field of the MAC-Z, a truck can enter the area without activating the alarm. For areas extending over 160″, users would need to purchase an additional MAC-Z System.
The Roam Silent Zoom/Jammer provides an area where the Personal Alarm Devices will not activate even when a truck equipped with a generator is nearby. Common areas would require a Room Silent Zone include office(s), conference rooms, workrooms, and cafeterias located next to a truck path. The silent field is oval-shaped and can be easily adjusted to fit within the confines of the room by removing the top cover and turning the PWM pot. Since magnetic field penetrates walls and other obstructions, all workers wearing the Personal Alarm Devices will not alarm when a Room Silent Zone is present. The Jammer is another alternative to the Room Silent Zone when the EMI noise is too high. The radius of the field (major axis) for both the Room Silent Zone and Jammer is from 6 ft up to 28 ft.
Compared to the Room Silent Zone/ Jammer, the Silent Spot is specially designed for smaller areas near a truck path. Covering an area of just 2 ft to 9 ft, the Silent Spot can be used for areas including workstations, desk(s), and personal work areas. Since magnetic fields can penetrate walls and other obstructions, using the Silent Spot can prevent the PAD worn by workers from activating. The silent field is circle-shaped and can be easily configured to fit within the confines of the designated area by removing the top cover and turning the PWM pot. Thus, the Silent Spot can be used as a Room Silent Zone or Jammer when the EMI noise is too high.
