Pressure relief valves, or safety relief valves, are safety devices specifically designed to protect vessels or containers from excessive pressure build-up. These incidents occur when the pressure inside enclosed containers or equipment exceeds predetermined levels.

Ensure Safety with Rapid Response

The primary purpose of installing these valves is to protect assets and lives. Pressure valves operate autonomously without the need for electrical power or compressed air.

Their mechanism includes an automatic pressure release when the internal pressure builds to dangerous levels.  We offer a diverse range of pressure relief valves that adhere to military standards. The valves are simple to install and play a pivotal role in preventing potential damage in the workplace.

  • Safeguards vessels and equipment from excessive pressure
  • Prevents damage by releasing gas during overpressure events
  • No need for electrical power or compressed air
  • Complies with rigorous military standards
  • Simple setup on various equipment
  • Ensures safety and minimises damage

Ultra High Flow Valve

Ultra-high flow valves are specifically engineered for overpressure and vacuum relief. These valves come in three standard sizes: 1 inch (25mm), 3 inches (76mm), and 8 inches (200mm). The pressure range for these valves spans from 0.5 to 5.0 psi. The valves are designed to withstand adverse conditions, including exposure to corrosive chemicals, driving rain and low or high temperatures.

Two-Way Relief Valve

Two-way relief valves are suitable for transit and storage containers and electronic and electro-optics equipment. These tamper-proof valves come with standard settings ranging from 0.5 psid to 3.0 psid, facilitating the resealing of pressure.

One of their key features is a manual-release push-button designed for equalising pressure or vacuum differentials. This functionality allows for the controlled opening of the container or equipment, providing a practical solution for managing pressure variations in various settings.

Purge Relief Valve

Purge relief valves have a tire valve core encased in lightweight, minimum-length housing designed for efficient purging or pressurising containers. Activating the valve requires the use of an air chuck. Users can attach a safety wire to the body for added security, effectively securing the cap in place.

Outward Relief Valve

Outward relief valves alleviate pressure in electro and electro-optic equipment. These valves come with standard settings ranging from 0.5 psid to 5.0 psid.

Available in various models, they cater to diverse applications, including Flange Mounted Outward Relief Valves, Push-Fit Outward Relief Valve, Thread Outward Relief Valve, Un-Threaded Glass Loaded Nylon with Splash Guard Outward Relief Valves, 10mm Diameter Push-Fit Outward Relief Valve and 1.5 BSP Double Thread Outward Relief Valve.

Non-Return Valve

Non-return valves, also referred to as check valves or one-way valves, enable airflow in a single direction while preventing airflow in the opposite direction. These valves prevent backflow, leading to contamination or damage within a system. The pressure relief valves are available in two models: in-line non-return valves and M16 thread non-return valves.

Manual Relief Valve

Manual relief valves provide various methods for equalising vacuum differentials or pressure before opening containers. Equipped with attaching hardware, these valves are easily installable on the wall of the case. Some models also incorporate a safety wire protection feature, preventing unauthorised openings of the valves and ensuring added security. The torque value specified for installation is 30 lbs/ins.

Inward Relief Valve

Inward relief valves have a vacuum relief function ranging from 0.5 psid to 5.0 psid. This feature ensures the valves are tamper-proof and eliminates the need for field maintenance.

Specifically tailored for electronic and electro-optics equipment applications, these valves are available in eight models, with specific models allowing for the fitting of a desiccant cartridge. This feature enables the absorption of moist air within the container or equipment, enhancing the protection of sensitive components from potential damage due to humidity.

High Flow Relief Valve

High-flow relief valves facilitate the movement of large quantities of air to prevent pressure buildup in various applications. The valve offers pressure and vacuum relief at an opening point of 0.50 psi ± 0.25 psi. This specification ensures fast decompression when required.

FOOG Vent

The FOOG vent proves to be an ideal solution for preventing overpressure in packaging resulting from the gassing of a product during and after production. Users can employ this vent to equalise atmospheric variations to ensure the integrity of the packaging.

Equipped with a sintered plastic filter, the FOOG vent is designed to withstand side loads and shocks encountered during filling and transit. The vent could be mounted on gas tap flanges or bulkheads with an adaptor flange. This feature makes it particularly suitable for protecting storage bags that contain food aggregates and milk powder, enhancing the overall safety and reliability of the packaging process.

Exhaust & Connection Port

The collaborative functioning of a manual relief valve, referred to as the Exhaust Port, and a self-sealing valve, designated as the Connection Port, is integral in ensuring optimal air circulation within a container while preventing air escape.

The combination of ports creates a well-regulated and controlled environment, particularly beneficial for large containers that necessitate effective air drying to maintain a contaminant and moisture-free setting.

Relief Valves with Humidity Indicator

Relief valves equipped with humidity indicators are ideal for optical-electronic equipment, moisture-sensitive electronics, or any device requiring humidity control in enclosed spaces in air transportation. These valves are designed for easy installation, requiring only a single hole in containers or equipment. The incorporated sensor paper undergoes a colour change from blue to pink with an increase in humidity, providing a visible indication of moisture levels.

Moreover, an additional application known as a static desiccator, or desiccant cartridge, can be inserted to absorb any excess humidity or moisture within the equipment. This feature enhances the overall effectiveness of the relief valves in maintaining the desired humidity levels and ensuring the protection of sensitive components during transportation or storage.
