Desiccant sheets offer a practical alternative to desiccant sachets in situations where space is limited. These sheets can be tailored to fit into narrow areas, effectively preventing contamination from desiccant dust. Their design also enables them to be installed in areas that are inaccessible to desiccant sachets.
Ensure Airtight Sealing
Moisture Adsorbing Board (MAB) is a space-efficient alternative to traditional desiccant sachets. The MAB sheet can be easily cut, punched, or thermoformed into various shapes and sizes. Its consistent thickness simplifies the packing process.
When the temperature drops below the DewPoint and the air is saturated, system and equipment failures could arise. To effectively protect against moisture, selecting a suitable humidity control device is essential. Desiccant sheets are suitable for products that require moisture protection and high-level clean drying in confined spaces.
Versatile Alternative
The MAB is a non-water-soluble, non-corrosive, and non-deliquescent. They can be securely fastened with mechanical retention and are dust-free. The sheets provide moderate to long-term hygroscopicity and feature a printable surface for customisation.
Standard MAB typically measure 295mm x 205mm x 1.6mm, akin to an A4 sheet size, and can be tailored to specific requirements. The adsorption value of MAB is 0.006 grams per cm2, which aids in calculating the necessary quantity. The manufacturing process involves integrating polyethene plastic with active Silica Gel to create the MAB, which can operate within a temperature range of -40ºC to 70ºC
