Desiccant breathers protect both equipment and stored fluids from the detrimental effects of contamination and moisture. These breathers utilise a desiccant filter that actively removes particulates from the incoming air as it is drawn into the equipment. Concurrently, the desiccant beads within the breather would absorb moisture, actively drying the equipment. This process remains effective even during shutdowns.
