Stretch Film

Stretch film, also referred to as stretch wrappers or pallet wrap, is a flexible packaging material used to bind goods during transportation and shipping. This packaging material ensures tightly wrapped goods, safeguarding the contents throughout the journey.

Commonly utilised to secure cartons and pallet loads, the stretch film is a protective barrier to prevent dust, moisture, water, and other contaminants from reaching the contents. Additionally, they act as deterrents against tampering and theft.

During transit, goods are exposed to various risks, including environmental factors, sudden movements, or improper handling. Securely binding goods together with stretch film reduces the likelihood of costly accidents and mishaps.

The stretch film is made from linear, low-density polyethene material and aligns with most recycling programmes. The plastic stretch film is characterised by its high elasticity and superior tension properties, proving a cost-effective solution for protecting goods.

The film stabilises items through tight contact with the goods, providing optimal load stability and additional protection. The use of a pallet wrapper with stretch film simplifies the bundling of single or multiple products. For enhanced corrosion protection, VCI stretch film is also available.
