ShockWatch 2 is a bi-directional vertical impact indicator developed to monitor impacts from 2Gs to 75Gs for durations between 0.5 and 0 ms. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -13°F to 176°F and can be conveniently activated on-site.
Impact Monitoring Tool to Deter Mishandling
Designed for single use, the ShockWatch 2 alerts users to any drops or mishandling incidents during transit. The single-use impact indicator has seven sensitivity levels, each denoted by a different colour.
The selection of the appropriate sensitivity would depend on the product’s impact tolerance and the packaging used.
The shock indicator reduces damage costs and triggers quick inspections for potential harm. Upon mishandling, its display shifts from white to red, indicating rough handling. The indicator serves not only as a warning mechanism but also as a deterrent to mishandling.
Every ShockWatch 2 has a distinct serial number for easy identification.
QR Version Available
For enhanced shipment visibility, ShockWatch 2 is available with QR-enabled functionality that captures impact event information through a smart device scan. The system records impact status, time, location, and serial number data, providing a digital record that improves traceability, supports handling verification, and facilitates damage investigations across the supply chain.
