Optimal Sealing Strength

Water-activated gummed tapes are adhesive tapes crafted from natural materials such as paper or potato starch and possess adhesive qualities that activate when moistened. This inherent adhesive feature imparts stickiness and ensures durability and an enduring carton seal.

There are two versions of the water-activated gummed tapes: reinforced or non-reinforced kraft paper tape. Both versions require two-strip sealing of cartons on the top and bottom, proving effective for recycled and new cargo. This tape is recommended for lightweight to moderately heavy cartons, up to 24 pounds (11kg).

Effective Solution with Fast Application

Gummed tape dispensers are an alternative to pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, accommodating a range of carton sizes and proving suitable for packaging requirements in the medium-to-high volume range.

Proper storage conditions are advised to retain the quality of the tapes. A clean and dry environment without volatile solvents is recommended to prevent damage to the packaging. The storage temperature should be maintained between 4° to 26°C, with humidity levels ranging from 40% to 50%. Additionally, inventory rotation is recommended.
