Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) spray is an anti-rust solution that protects metal surfaces from corrosion and rust. The vapour from the spray inhibits the oxidation process, which leads to corrosion.

The chemicals in the VCI Spray create a protective layer on the metal surface when released. This layer serves as a barrier and prevents moisture and oxygen from reaching the metal – effectively preventing corrosion. The VCI Spray operates by continuously emitting vapours into the environment.

They are safe and residue-free and do not require additional cleaning prior to use. While the VCI spray can prevent corrosion, it is essential to note that it is not intended to restore or repair rusted surfaces. For metal surfaces with existing corrosion, removing the rust through mechanical or chemical means is recommended before applying the VCI Spray.
