VCI Paper (Steel Wrap)
VCI Paper (Steel Wrap) is a robust laminate packaging solution which has a 40 lbs natural kraft base with a blend of corrosion protection coating. It offers protection for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The kraft layer, treated with a corrosion inhibitor, is laminated with reinforcement scrim and Polyethylene to construct a 50 lbs natural kraft structure. This composition enhances the paper’s moisture resistance, strength, and tear resistance. This anti-rust paper can withstand harsh conditions and rough handling to protect heavy and large metal parts from corrosion during transit.
VCI Paper (Uniwrap Woven)
VCI Paper (Uniwrap Woven) has outstanding strength, tear, and moisture resistance. Constructed from a 40lb/65gsm single-ply natural Kraft and reinforced with a lamination of polyethylene to a 10 x 3 woven HDPE fabric. The paper is both top-coated and saturated with a VCI formulation to ensure comprehensive corrosion protection. It is suitable for coil wrap applications.
VCI Scrim
VCI Scrim has exceptional tear strength. It is suitable for applications such as heavy steel rolls, interleaving between pallets, sheeting material, and wrapping irregularly shaped or bulky equipment. This robust material can endure demanding conditions and rough handling.
Comprising a 50 lb. poly-coated, natural kraft paper reinforced with a tri-directional scrim, it offers resistance against grease, oil, and water. The VCI Scrim serves as an effective barrier and protects products against environmental contaminants that leads to corrosion.
