When a package with an RFID-enabled impact label is scanned remotely by an RFID reader, its condition is automatically logged into an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or warehouse management system.

ShockWatch RFID’s automated reporting enables remote monitoring within containers. This eliminates the need for manual visual checks. The indicator promptly flags products that may have suffered damage and effectively segregates them from undamaged goods.

The indicator’s ability to pinpoint the exact location of damage incidents significantly aids in diverting products mid-shipment for inspections and accelerates the dispatch of crucial replacement items without waiting for the arrival of the entire shipment. ShockWatch® RFID can be read by any UHF RFID reader, providing a systematic approach to damage reporting. These tamper-proof shock indicators also offer a visual signal of impact exceeding specified g-force thresholds by turning red, prompting a quality inspection.
