WarmMark is a single-use temperature indicator that alerts when temperatures exceed acceptable limits. This visual alert system is a packaging solution for maintaining cold chain integrity and preventing the distribution of compromised goods.
Monitoring Temperature Thresholds
The temperature indicator has three distinct breach windows – brief, moderate, and prolonged – offering a comprehensive assessment of the duration and severity of temperature exposure.
Upon reaching predetermined temperature thresholds, the indicator changes colour to red and initiates a countdown, with each dot progressively illuminating to signify the level and duration of exposure.
The categorisation of exposure lengths varies depending on the temperature. For instance, a “brief” exposure lasts 2 hours at 0°C/32°F.
However, at higher temperatures, such as 25°C/77°F or above, this duration shortens to 30 minutes, providing a more sensitive response to temperature changes. This allows users to determine product safety and whether replacement is necessary.
Precise Monitoring of Temperature Fluctuations
Activating the WarmMark is straightforward: unfold and pull the tab to activate, then remove the adhesive backing and attach it to a clean, dry surface.
The versatility of the WarmMark makes it an ideal choice across various industries, including confectionery, food, meat processing, floriculture, chemical manufacturing, scientific research, and pharmaceuticals. Its adaptability ensures reliable temperature monitoring in a diverse range of environments and applications.
