Container Lashing Belts or Bands are used to bundle (or band) items together as a single unit. Lashing Belts are used to secure cargo units to the container. Strapping cargo prevents product movement and slipping, reducing the risk of workplace injury. To maximize efficiency, secure the Lashing Belt with a tensioner and fill gaps between cargo units with dunnage airbags to prevent movement during transportation.
Strapping is the process of applying a lashing belt to an item to reinforce, combine, hold or fasten it. Lashing is the process of using a rope or belt to secure two or more items together. It is typically applied to timber poles, where container lashes are commonly used to hold cargo units together. The lashing belt is an economical and easy-to-handle alternative to typical solutions for load securement such as tension belts or wooden crates. It functions by tying goods together and fixing them on suitable carriers. Ratchets and metal buckles can also be used together with the lashing belt to ensure that your cargo is secured throughout transport. Available in two colours – white and orange, our lashing belts are supplied in either carton, bulk coils, or our dispenser bag.
